We stayed in the Villa with our daughter and son in law for two weeks in September.
I can only describe the experience as truly amazing. The views of the sea are out of this world in an elevated position a couple of hundred metres above the sea and surrounded by olive groves. These magnificent views were matched equally by the complete absence of noise. Absolute peace and tranquillity. The only sound is the soft gentle ring of the bells around the necks of the sheep as they graze on the mountain side.
Most of the surrounding land is owned by Spiros, the uncle of the Villa owner, Amalia, a very family affair that gives a most wonderful feeling of complete relaxation. We met Spiros on our first day while out herding his sheep who told us of his experiences of traveling the world as a sailor and how he returned to the home farm where he continues to make his own Feta cheese with the milk from his sheep. By far the best feta we tasted during our holiday.
The villa is very well equipped both inside and out with a choice of eating areas including a magnificent BBQ. Everything anyone could possibly want to suit all times of the day and eating preferences.
The Villa is a short walk from the village of Agia Efimia which is equally relaxed with plenty of good restaurants, shops and all the facilities necessary to make a good holiday. The village is particularly clean and tidy with very little traffic and the complete absence of loud tourist drinking dens.
We all had the most fabulous holiday and are hoping to return in the not too distant future.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in July 2019 and had a simply wonderful time.
We were looking for a nice villa in a quiet location that could accommodate 5 adults and the Villa Thalassini more than met our expectations!
The villa itself is beautiful and very well appointed - providing very comfortable living space. The views you see from the villa are amazing and I spent many an hour sat in the shade of the olive tree reading and watching the world go by. The pool area is superb and is surrounded by lovely flowers that add to the beauty of the location.
The villa was also a great base from which to travel to wonderful nearby towns such as Fiskardo & Assos and amazing beaches such Antisamos & Mrytos. However - after a day away it was always great to return to the tranquility and luxury of the Villa!
Agia Effimia is a lovely town that is not too big but has everything you need - plenty of shops and lovely and reasonably priced restaurants. It has this small town relaxed feel about the place that we very much liked. We also hired a boat for the day which was also great fun.
Kefalonia is a beautiful island and the people everywhere are so friendly. Amalia and her family were so kind and nothing was any trouble. We had a fantastic time in Kefalonia and this was mainly because we were lucky enough to have the Villa Thalassini as our home for those 2 weeks! We hope to return one day.
Fabulous family holday

This is the best villa in Agia Effimia which is the most charming village in Kefalonia. Amalia and her parents are extremely helpful and the house is immaculate with everything one could wish for in a holiday home. The position is brilliant and one can walk to the sea and village and get fit going up the hill afterwards. It is beautifully maintained with high quality finishes and I would give a 5*
